Facebook, Meta's social networking platform, is today a powerful entity with an enormous amount of users. The problem is that younger Internet users escape the website, choosing "fresher" and more attractive places, such as Instagram or TikTok. Mark Zuckerberg has to constantly change the functions of the platform, expanding it with completely new experiences.
Takowe is to be provided by the Metaverse, a peculiar world of AR / VR, which will allow interactions between users, work, study and play. Sounds good, but Meta needs to convince the developers, which may not be that simple. Apple may stand in his way, which according to (unofficially) does not intend to adapt its AR / VR goggles to support the Metaverse. Apple's VR / AR headset will not support the Metaverse platform. Unofficial information can mean considerable problems for the virtual world created by Mark Zuckerberg.
Computers are powerful tools for work, entertainment and all forms of creativity. Nevertheless, the most "personal" devices are smartphones. Portable equipment has become "sexy", which makes producers outdo each other in creating more and more visually interesting solutions. Folded smartphones will be a good example here. Unfortunately, they are also a bit commonplace for us and today we can buy one of the models available on the market at the price of an average flagship. The industry must therefore look for another breakthrough tool. This will most likely be the AR / VR goggles that the most important market players are working on. I am talking about fully useful, small-size and expanded consumer glasses. For these to catch on, one important thing is needed that was missing from Microsoft when creating Windows Phone.
