Bulgaria’s CSKA 1948 have agreed a deal with the Swiss company Ammer Technologies to build a digital fan token and NFT’s as part of a broad ranging digital technology partnership.
Ammer, which also becomes the club’s Official Technology Partner will create branded CSKA1948 cards that will enable the club to offer new fan experiences and create new revenue streams.
“This partnership agreement is the result of the joint desire of CSKA and Ammer Card to adopt technology and innovation in order to improve the experience and engagement of fans in Bulgarian football. Ammer Card is a secure, reliable and easy-to-use digital wallet created by Ammer Technologies AG, a Swiss company with a solid reputation for developing innovative Web3 products and services,” said the club.
Those new products include a CSKA Coin, a digital currency allowing fans to receive club rewards and bonuses, including match tickets, exclusive access to players and selected services and products provided by club partners.
“With the help of the Ammer Card, the club will also release a series of NFTs: unique digital collections of club legends and memorable events. One of the main highlights of this partnership will be the creation of a value-added digital game where fans will be able to win limited NFT collections from the unforgettable season on the way to Europe.”
Victor Ammer, CEO and founder of Ammer Group AG, added: “Our partnership with CSKA stems from sharing a common vision – the transformative power of technology, and specifically Web3, in reshaping the sports world. Web3 technology has the potential to not only unlock the innovative, but also create a deeper connection between fans of different age groups with their favorite club. It is an extraordinary honour and responsibility for us to be the Official Technology Partner of CSKA. We believe this is the beginning of an exciting challenge that will turn into a successful partnership.”
