On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the founding of the School of Journalism and Communication, Tsinghua University, on April 16, the "Metaverse Culture Laboratory of the School of Journalism and Communication, Tsinghua University" (hereinafter referred to as the "Metaverse Culture Laboratory" ")formally established. Professor Hu Yu, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Journalism and Communication of Tsinghua University and Director of the Management Committee of the "Metaverse Culture Laboratory of the School of Journalism and Communication of Tsinghua University", congratulated the establishment of the laboratory and hoped that the laboratory jointly established by the two parties will play a role in scientific research, Advantages in technology, talent and industry, discuss deep-seated issues, and form leading ideas. The "Metaverse Culture Laboratory of the School of Journalism and Communication of Tsinghua University" is supported by Chinese Online, and the School of Journalism and Communication of Tsinghua University integrates the research forces of various schools in Tsinghua University to carry out research. In the future, the laboratory will carry out research in the future media technology development, metaverse cultural and creative, metaverse index, virtual digital human index and other metaverse fields by combining production, education and research, and strive to build the laboratory into a forward-looking, domestic industry.
