After the collaboration between Nomadic Labs and France-based sports equipment and apparel company, Decathlon, on Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) turned out to be successful, the latter has delved deeper into the web3 industry through layer-one (L1) Tezos (XTZ) blockchain.
According to the announcement, Decathlon has unveiled its virtual reality project dubbed Rockrider Geocaching Game which combines physical outdoor activities and the digital realm through the Tezos blockchain. Notably, the Rockrider Geocaching Game is currently available to the European market, with the 1,000 digital treasuries distributed around France and Germany, specifically near the scenic Rhine River that originates from the Swiss. Moreover, the Rockrider game is expected to attract outdoor enthusiasts and at the same time tech-savvy individuals.
