The long-awaited 'Metaverse-ready' headset has been unveiled in a new promo.
HTC VIVE has opened pre-order sales of its Desire 22 Pro extended reality (XR) smartphone this week, which it plans to dispatch to early shoppers on 1 August this year. According to HTC VIVE’s website, the new smartphone will include several metaverse-ready features to experience immersive 2D and 3D content. The phone comes with Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi, and 5G connectivity for optimal virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR) connections along with further integrations for the company’s VIVERSE metaverse platform.
The tools will allow users to stream media in immersive cinematic experiences and visit virtual communities by linking the Desire 22 pro with their VIVE Flow headsets. The smartphone also contains a 6.6-inch display, 1080 x 2412 resolution graphics with a 120 Hz refresh rate, and weighs in at 205.5 grammes. The smartphone body will also fend off damp with its IP67 water-resistant body case. Full story here
