- The metaverse phenomenon takes a while for the mass audience to get used to it. Time is playing in Zuckerberg's favor - media interest in this trend is likely to emerge now. And in any case, they will remind you of Meta, says Piotr Bombol, chief strategy officer at Gameset. But there are also dangers. - Will other companies in the category not decide to raise capital faster and make a leap in development, which may de facto block the Meta? Expected profits from the metaverse rose after Zuckerberg's announcement, and that hasn't escaped VC funds, Bombol notes. Other projects that have a chance to become a leader in this area are staked out - such as Decentralanda or Sandbox. Today it can be said that the entry of Facebook means that the market is relatively mature, there are innovators and early adopters - says Bombol. Roblox is a free gaming platform that is used by 43 million users every day. Marketers more and more often perceive it and the metaverse created in it as an ideal platform thanks to which they can reach both young and older users.
