VRrOOm, the metaverse YouTube made in France

While the term “metaverse” is on everyone's lips, a French company is working to create the “YouTube of the metaverse”. Currently specializing in the production, recording and multi-platform distribution of virtual reality shows, VRrOOm is working on its own platform to centralize these different contents. For spectators, but also creators. 
What is the project?In short: the YouTube of the metaverse. In long version: a content platform for the metaverse, where users can both watch videos and create them. Oriented towards events and culture, VRrOOm offers immersive recordings for hybrid broadcasts of cultural and sporting events, festivals, exhibitions, etc. 
The launch of the platform is scheduled for December 2022, but VRrOOm has existed and has been evolving in the industry since 2016. Its teams have already  carried out several experiments  to prove their concept. Since 2021, they have broadcast the Venice Biennale, the two editions of the South by Southwest festival, the 2022 edition of Roland Garros and several DJ sets by  DJ M1n0t0r . They also developed the 2021 digital Telethon. 
In December 2021, the company achieved a real tour de force: the broadcast of Jean-Michel Jarre's virtual concert for New Year's Eve - the show, staged in a 3D reproduction of Notre Dame cathedral, was  viewed more than 75 millions of times , live and in replay, from VR headsets, on virtual platforms and in classic streaming. A world record, much more than Travis Scott's concert in Fortnite, a reference for virtual events, which had gathered  more than 12 million spectators .
